4 codes are available during the practice session of Tuesday, October 2 afternoon (2:30PM-7:30PM):

  • DEDALUS CODE : MHD code in cartesian and spherical geometry, teacher : Laura Currie (Univ. Exeter)

These 4 codes are included in a Linux virtual machine (Lubuntu 16.04, file VM-EES2018.ova) downloadable via this link:

This virtual machine must be launched via the VirtualBox application downloadable from the Oracle website:

To import the virtual machine VM-EES2018.ova, use the "Import Appliance" menu of VirtualBox:

Note: if there is a problem recognizing your keyboard after launching the VM, use the linux setxkbmap command to switch from one keyboard to another (eg FR azerty -> US qwerty: setxkbmap us).
